RESEARCH AREA AND TEAM
Chuansheng Xiong, PhD, an associate professor and master supervisor from Qingdao University of Technology. He has been engaging in the research of reinforced concrete materials and durability performance for quite a long time. In order to solve the prominent problem of materials corrosion and deterioration of reinforced concrete under marine environment, quantities of research has been carried out on the corrosion mechanism, and innovative prevention and control technology of marine reinforced concrete materials. Presently, he has host a Youth Fund Project of National Natural Science Fund of China (No. 51709253), a Key Research Projects in Shandong Province (No. 2019 GGX102053), China Postdoctoral Special Funding Projects (No. 2018 T110714, No. 2016 M600563), and also a Postdoctoral Innovation Application Projects of Qingdao. Besides, he has participated in many national and provincial projects. Up until now, he has published more than 35 SCI/EI indexed papers and also successfully applied for 17 national invention patents. He participated in the compilation process of one Code for China engineering construction standardization association. He has presented in many academic conferences on corrosion and protection for marine engineering worldwide and given many presentations.
